Default Headlight Aim

I'd like to lower my headlights just a tad to keep some people from flashing me. I have the "up - down" holes in the cord support, but there really isn't anything down in that hole to adjust!!! The only thing I found, is a "bolt" down in that general area, but it is pointing towards the rear, like toward the battery?? It surely wouldn't be adjustable from up top.

Use a long phillips screwdriver thru that hole. The adjuster has a sort of crown gear. The phillips engages that crown like a pinion gear.

After adjusting the lights go stand in front of your car and slowly squat down to see if the lights "change over" i.e. go from bright to blinding at the same time and adjust them accordingly. That's way more annoying then people with bright headlights! I hate seeing a Lexus or something coming down the road and one light is white and the other is purple and every bump they flicker. Ugh...
