Hello everyone I have a 1999 honda accord ex 2.3 liter engine and my check engine just came on. I took it to my local auto part store to check the codes on got these two codes. What I want to know is where is the sensor located? Any help would be appreciated.

The EGR valve is brand new. Is there something else that might be the problem ?

P0453 is for the fuel tank pressure sensor (high input). I don't see how the EGR could make that happen.

So, I would have to remove the gas tank to reach the sensor?

I no longer own the '98 so I don't have that Helm book. Somehow I think the sensor is attached to the EVAP canister, underneath the car below the left-rear seat.

edit...
OK, I guess it's #36 here. That still doesn't tell me how difficult it is to get at it.
