Default HELP! Bogging, smoke, blow by?

To start off... car runs. A LOT of pressure out of the exhaust. Serious bogging while bogging while under load (Idling, not driving. Haven't tried to drive it). Pressure coming out of valve cover. Smoke coming from valve cover. No smoke from exhaust. Sounds like total ****. I'm hoping to have this figured out here real soon since I just got it all back together after a new head was installed.

Ok, I'll give up my GUESS. Too many times after head or intake work the TPS and MAP connectors get connected to the wrong sensor....they are the same size and shape and not that far from each other so @#$* happens.

Look at the wires currently connected to the TPS, if they are not like the pic and the ones on the MAP are....humm, switch the connectors and see what happens

I did actually have that issue with the two sensors. But I ended up twisting the distributor and it made things better. I'm still having an issue with almost no power while trying to leave an intersection, and it once it hits about 4k in the rev range it finally gets some *****...

This may be a timing problem.

I would pull off the valve cover. Turn the crankshaft until you are at top dead center. Then make sure the cam sprocket marks are lined up.

wait so you are driving it?

There IS smoke coming out the valve cover?

1. do you have enough oil and has it been changed regularly?

2. What color is the smoke?

3. why are you driving this when it could cost you your engine?

1. Yes, oil has been changed regularly, and there is oil in it.

2. Smoke was white/grey

3. This was only smoking like this when the distributor timing was off.

and the timing belt is on time still
