Help!!! Car wont start!
My 95 Honda accord LX wont start
Lights on the dash light up, took starter and alltinator to my LAPS all tested good (also the battery which is brand new.)
I'm sure there are more things it could be. someone told me there is a safety switch on the clutch that could have gone bad, or even the starter relay? what could it be?
There is a big oil leak and it needs a new valve cover gasket, what is the best way to clean all that off before working on these things?
I am a general service tech with little experience. my shop is too busy with all the oil changes to actually bring it in and use the shop. I want to learn and i want to get this project car going as soon as possible.
PLEASE HELP

So you turn the key to "start" and nothing happens - meaning the starter is not turning the engine....correct?
If so, test for battery voltage on the small wire going to the starter solenoid while the key is turned to "start". Are you getting battery voltage?
