Default Help with fitting alloys lug nuts please.

Hello, I have recently bought alloys for my accord and I have a slight concern with the wheel nuts.
The nuts I have are ball/radius seated but the nut doesn't fit fully in the hole.

The attached file shows roughly where the nut sits.

The alloys are standard oem Honda Speedline alloys and the hole is not flat or tapered.

I am also confused as to how there is a rust ring on all the wheels around the lug nut hole, to me it looks like a washer of some sort may have been there, or it may just be where they were sitting in garden and the rain has got to it.

Any advice on whether this fitting seems correct or advice on what the problem may be?

Thank you

Here in USA, the factory Honda aluminum wheels have a steel insert cast into the wheel. And they take spherical nuts.

But I don't know about the Speedline wheels, whether the same is true for them...
