Default Help with isolating suspension problem

I have the 96 V6 around 90k and driving on flat paved roads makes no noise at all rides smooth. Driving on dirt roads/paved roads when going over small dips or pulling in and out of parking lots, makes a squeaking noise and when going over larger dips sounds like metal hitting metal along with the squeaks. Also makes the same squeaking noise when steering left or right. Maybe ball joints is the metal sound? Shocks are newer and are in good shape so it cant be shocks. And as far as the squeaking is it the power steering? Help!!

Try to simulate bumps by bouncing on car fender to initiate the squeaking. Likely need some help to cause bouncing while you inspect for source of squeaks. Feel upper/lower ball jts, tie rod BJ, tie rod for inner BJ, etc. You should be able to feel the vibration through fingers on steel parts.

Sometimes Anti-Sway bar guide bushings can cause squeaks. These are large rubber bushings that guide/support the AS bar at two points on suspension.

good luck

Ive noticed it only does the squeaking on the drivers side. Going to jack the car up tomorrow and check things out.
