Help! No brake lights on 86 Accord
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a little help trying to figure out why both brake lights won't come on on my 86'. I have replaced the bulbs and checked the brake switch for continuity. I am still not 100% sure its not the switch. Is there any other way of checking it? Any onther thoughts? Thanks in advance!

If people don't see the back of the car, they won't notice the brake lights.
I crack me up.
Do you have 12 volts at the brake light switch?
Fuses all good? Horn work? 20 amp fuse in drivers kickpanel fuse box.
Another weak point of that cars wire harness is at the drivers side trunk hinge, the harness flexes and I've seen broken wires there.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I tried to hide th back of the car in the garage but it follows me everywhere the front goes - go figure.
I checked all the fuses and they are good, I do not have 12V at the switch, the horn does not work nor does the cruise. I have not looked at the wire harness but I will check that out next. Thanks for the tip.

Trying hard to have a flash back here. There is a Yellow/white wire or White/yellow stripe wire that feeds power thru the brake light switch from the fuse box; Your only option at this point is to follow it back and go with point to point wire checks, thru each connection, until you find the open part of the circuit.
If this is an LXI [fuel injected], I've seen the sunroof/antenna motor drain leak on to the wire bundles by the fuse panel, but usually it blows fuses.
