Help Noise On New Accord
I recently purchased an Accord V6 Sedan. After a few weeks driving, I've noticed a strange sound that comes and goes. It's a very low droning noise which seems to happen between 35-40 mph. It goes away when you go above or below. I've noticed it when getting off of an exit and coasting at 35mph (no gas applied). What could it be? Any help would be great! Thanks.

more like a humming noise right? does the sound amplify when maintaining or increasing the speed a little and turning the steering wheel left/right?
If that is the case, it's a wheel bearing. make sure you change the right one and ASK YOUR MECHANIC what brand he uses. if you know your parts, suggest him to get a brand you like or they'll slap a generic that'll last you 20-30k before the sound comes back.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it sounds more like a humming sound; not metallic or grinding. The sound does not amplify with speed. In fact, it'll go away what's once I hit 40mph. It happens in range between 35 and 40. The car is brand new. The tires are brand new too. I would hate to think it's the bearings considering they should be new too. But, I guess I could have a bad one. Thanks again.
I haven't tried the left/right thing. Haven't found a safe stretch of road.
