help please any one
ok so i posted this on another forum and havent heard anything back yet so im here trying to find help.
ok so i dont see a situation close to mine on here so bare with me plz. i have a 92 accord ex coupe a/t that i bought awhile back (112k miles). since then i have installed an msd ignition box, msd coil, cap, rotor and plug wires, also i have a short ram intake. besides that i have changed my spark plugs oil/filter fuel filter timing belt and water pump and adjusted/checked valve lash not twice but 3 times as of today. now before i did all of this my car ran fine but now it makes a loud "tapping" noise and it idles higher than before (750-850 previously about 1000 now). lastly i added seafoam into my gas tank and valve cover area (gas was low). i havent really ran the car at all until recently, 5 times at most for no more than a few mins at a time, because its a project that will be my daily driver once finished. could it be the fact that i left the seafoam for awile and it was really bad inside my engine? i am going to use a vacuum gauge later today, i know i need to try compression or a leak down but im honestly to worried to warm the engine up with it running this way. any help is much appreciated thanks
update: i checked cam tdc vs the tdc mark on flex plate and figured out timing was off by 2 or 3 teeth so i slid my timing belt off and rotated the cam back (cw) to where i think it should be (up, up and notches in cam gear level with head idk if its ok to do that or if i should be able to do that after a timing belt job but i did). i started my engine with vacuum gauge connected and i got 7 in hg. given the noise wasnt as loud as before can any one give some insight as to why my vacuum is so low it should b at least 15 in hg if not 17. i checked my oil level and its full. i should also mention my cam gear wobbles a little bit and my timing belt keeps sliding away from the engine as it turns it has to be rubbing against something because i seen little shreds of belt. i have a picture of the belt position but idk how to upload it from my phone. i also have a video of my car idling.

Somthing is mis-installed on timing belt system. See following link.

I see no option but to redo timing belt correctly. If you don't have a shop manual, get one to help guide your work. Take your time!
A bent valve due to mistiming could account for low vacuum.
good luck

ok thanks. i just found out i have an exhaust manifold leak as well, 1 of my studs just came out like the threads inside the head came out with the stud. i was reading else where that a leak at the manifold can cause a tapping or knocking noise eventually burning a valve. do you know of a thread about fixing that leak with out pulling the head off? as for the timing belt components i will most definitely redo it maybe tonight or tomorrow
if a valve was bent i would see a fluctuation in the reading on my vacuum gauge correct? my reading was a solid 7 in hg i have a picture of it also. unless maybe (i really hope not) all my valves are bent but even then it would move a little bit right because i doubt they could all be bent the same amount idk?
