well, my dad just bought an 06 accord ex. we got it home and tried to program the garage door opener, but we cant get it to work. i did the reset on it and then fallowed the dirrections that the dealer told us (hold the button in untill it flashes quick and then press and holdthe button for the regular garage door opener) i'm i missing a step, or is that how it is supposed to work?

i didn't even think to look for the manual. the car didn't come with one. the link didn't work, but i was able to find it. thanks for the info. i know what i need to do now.

Why did your car not come with a manual? You should totally look into that.

 

i've yet to even look in my manual... i looked up the service mileage, and just maintain the rest myself...

i even figured out the remote window roll down trick on my own! (which ironically is NOT in the manual from what i've read)
