Default Help on Project 94 Accord

Thia is my first import tuner style car so i dont know much about this scene. The car is a 94 Accord 2dr manual f22b2. QThese are just a few questions i came up with while brainstorming. I did some searxhing but couldnt come up with any definitive answers. If you have any linda tips hints help watevr, plz let me know. Thanks in advance.

1. CAI or SRI for acceleration?
2. What other cheap ($300 < X) mods are there to do to add accel? I know clutch and intake.
3. Mild looking spoiler?
4. Size wheels and tires that will fill up the wheel wells nice?
5. Places that have nice affordable shifter ***** and boots?
6. Exhaust to achieve a low deep tone?
7. Rev limiter around 4000rpm? Wtf?!
8. The car has NO power until it gets to 2500 rpm. What do i do? (Kinda goes back to accel lol)

1) Neither will really give you any power....you might gain 1-2hp, but with stock exhaust manifold, and exhaust, an intake won't do that much. But it WILL sound nice. Since you are on the east coast, and tend to get more rain, I'd suggest a SRI. Pretty much eliminates any chance to suck up water. And go with AEM....you can find them for $120 shipped on eBay. They come with the best quality filters.

2) It takes a lot for the F22 to make power. Intake, throttle body, F23 intake manifold, new spark plugs and wires, header, catback exhaust. If you got all that and a mild tune, the car would be a little faster.

3) SiR Accord (top of the line in model in Japan) replica wing:
JDM 94 95 Accord Sir Rear Trunk Spoiler Wing Urethane | eBay

or a Mugen style replica
94 95 Honda Accord JDM Mugen Style Trunk Lip Wing Spoiler BC Canada | eBay

4)If you don't want to deal with major fender work or running crazy camber, I say run something in the 17x7 or 17x8 with an offset in the +35 to +40 range. They won't be sunk in like your stock wheels, but won't poke out either. With that wheel size I would also run a 215/40/17 tire.

5) eBay. Look at some Razo brand shift *****....I really like their styles.

6) If you want deep, Magnaflow is the way to go. Hands down one of the best sounding exhausts for our cars. They make a full catback exhaust, or you can buy a Magnaflow muffler, and take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld up custom piping.

7) If your rev limiter is at 4k rpm, then your car is in "limp mode" meaning something isn't right. I'd take it to a mechanic and see what they can find.

8) Goes back to #7.....once you get the car fixed, it will be a bit quicker.

And another suggestion.....while this won't increase acceleration, it will help with handling and nimbleness of the car......get a good quality suspension setup. Basic coilovers run about $500 and will completely transform how your car handles.

Rev limiter at those rpms you should get that engine checked first before you spend any money on add on's.
