Help! Snapped Lug Post Front Wheel - 94 LX
Hello all,
First time poster here, long time accord owner. Need a little help with a car I bought recently. Today I was putting winter tires on my 94 LX and I snapped a lug nut post as I was taking the lug nut off. Sure it was crossthreaded/overtightened by the previous owner....
So anyhow, any idea on how to r/r a lug nut post on a front wheel? Can I do it from the front w/out taking the steering knuckle off, or do I have to take the whole shebang off as if I was r/r'ing a CV joint? Looking at the hub with the wheel off, it looks like I can remove the big castelated hub nut as well as 4 smaller bolts holding the hub to the disc (or bearing), but wanted to ask the experts in the forum first.
Thanks in advance....

RE: Help! Snapped Lug Post Front Wheel - 94 LX
drive it backwards with your trusty hammer, you might have to remove the 4 bolts on the rotor to get it loose and then put the new stud in from the back side. Use a larger spacer nut over the stud threads, then use the lug nut to pull the new stud in.

Thats the problem. On mine, you cant drive the lug nut out like I could on my old 89 because part of the bearing or disc is directly behind it. I think the hub is pressed in, but I wasnt sure. It'd sure be great if I could just do it while still on the car.
Thanks again....
