Honda Accord 1987 Lx - Fails to start in mornings on rare occasions

my car does the same thing, i'm guessing its a vapor lock, what year is it? turn the key vroom put put put dead. sputter is definately the right word. mine ususally only does it when its in direct sunlight at 80 and hotter degree weather though, so i dont know about mornings. its not your starter, nor your battery. something to do with electrical, fuel lines, or short in power to the fuel pump... tho if i knew what it was for sure i'd fix mine too haha

Yes, exactly, I can relate to the put put sound. Mine is a 1987 Honda Accord LX. I'm going to test out the battery theory anyways, I really hope it is the battery. I am a student and I really have no money to deal with the "unknown" electric wiring, fuel pump wiring issues etc.

Is this something I can keep under the carpet for another few years? Or is this something I need to address as soon as possible?

Got the battery tested today and the battery didnt even make it to the minimum mark!!! Im glad that the battery was the issue! Thanks for your guys help!
