The cruise control green light comes on. it will not stay engage when button is pushed and when you decelerate it goes down. however, if you manually keep to button held down it works, This air bags years ago were reset twice and cannot remember if by coincidence when air bag had to be reinstalled, is that when it started malfunction, just cannot remember?, any possible ideas before high price dealer . honda 2003 automatic Ex v6

 

Sounds like a faulty cruise control combination switch on the steering wheel.

Driver's airbag has to be removed even to do continuity tests on the switch.
