hi...its been a while but still no luck finding out the source of the issue however, improved.

Changed the fuel filter, and re checked the fuel pump, all OK. Fuel hose had a hole/crack on it, replaced.

Now car starts, but on idle is coughing a little while, the idle is not even, and RPM are jumping up and down, then few seconds later car stalls.

Is this car or engine has an IACV at all? Can not really find a suitable manual for this car sadly...

this issue is making me a bit mad and it is taking ages tackling this down

damn...

Is your fuel pump electric?

hi

Yes, brand new fuel pump installed.

I have dismantled the carburetor and cleaned it up. It was not clogged or anything...now everything back and still the same...stalls on idle, only works if the choke is half way on, then i am getting about 1500 RPM kind of steady (moving up and down a bit, lets say 200-300 rpm). As soon as the choke is pushed down, the motor can not handle that and stalls.

I have pretty much checked everything, cleaned everything and don't know what the hell is going on...

Hey

OK. Concluded that the fuel flow is clean.

I have attached two pictures. It seems that there is a blockage there where I have put the red plastic tube, it does not go fully. This is at the bottom of the card and this is connected to the air filter.

I have tried to blow/suck this rout and nothing coming in or going out, i only can access this with the plastic red piece for about 30-40mm....does that mean my airflow is somehow blocked there?

How do I access this? Could you please advise? Can that metal pin coming out of the card twisted out? Is it a screw? I don't want to break that tho...

Thank you!

At this point you have a choice to make. Your issue could be a few things:

Timing issue (teeth off)
Burnt valve (has it ever ran hot?)
Carburetor (needs to be rebuilt) kit

If the car was fuel injected it could of been an electrical issue
