Redbull, this is the pin you described. As you can see the colors are not as you mentioned. I did try tying into to them as you can see by the tape, but to no avail. Would this being a V6 have anything to do with why the location of these wires would be in a different location? Any info you need, just holler.

Can you show a different picture from the wire side, showing more wires?

Your picture in post #12 looks to be the driver's side fuse box. Edit: I see the foot rest pedal, ground bolt that is similar to the driver's side location, and fuses are similar to the driver's side fuse box.

It should be the passenger side fuse box to find the door lock wiring.

WOW, will go check that asap. your wires for the data and synchro were dead on. Finally got the unit to program. You think the trunk pop wire would be over there also. I was not even gonna mess with it, but if I'm over there might as well run it.

Trunk release is at an 18-P gray connector (C501) on the driver's side.

Terminal no. 2 - Wht/Red wire (+)

PERFECT!!! Just like you said. I've got it all wired up, but upon going through some checks. I'm not getting parking light flashing when locking or unlocking. According to my references it is suppose to be a positive red/black wire in driver side fuse bay. It even showed a picture of it, but apparently it is not right. If you can point this one last thing out for me I will show my gratitude.

For an EX, you can wire the parking lights at the connector wires to the taillight relay. (EX uses a taillight relay in the circuit.)

Parking Light (+): Terminal No. 1 (Red/Blk wire)
Parking Light (-): Terminal No. 3 (Red/Yel wire)

There's a self-satisfaction when you're able to do-it-yourself without anything getting fubared. Some people like the challenges and learning things along the way.

Note: To flash the parking lights, only one of the wires I listed (either the negative or the positive) probably needs to be hooked up to the alarm/remote system's respective parking light wire.

  • The negative wire is before the taillight relay, and will energize the relay coil to allow power through to the parking lights.
  • Whereas, the positive wire is after the taillight relay; so, most likely power from the alarm system will provide power without the need to go through the taillight relay.
It's should probably only be just a matter of choice.
