Default Hooking up LED's

Hey guys. I was just wantinga cheap mod so im installing some LED accent lights, using regular led bulbs and im wondering three things.

1. Where should I connect the ground coming from the negative end of the LEDs
2. How many LED would the battery be able to take without losing power or affecting the car in anyway
3. What sort of resistor will I be needing to use in order to not wreck the LED's

Thanks
-Josh

the battery could probably handle a buttload. the location of the wiring would depend on the location within the car. as for the leds themselves, if youre going with red or blue, i would buy some at pep boys with the prewired resistors. they come in packs of 3 for like $7. i used them when i wired up my cluster and dash blue LED conversion.
