Sorry if this is the wrong section...

I have an '07 Accord v6 and was wondering what the size of the gas tank is. In my book it says 17 gallons but I have noticed when I am very much on the orange empty light when I go to fill up it stops at ~13.5 gallons.

I can't imagine there being a ~3.5 gallon emergency reserve?

 

I'm seeing 17.1 gallons as well. From my experience There is always a few gallons left when the light comes on. I ran a few cars on the empty light for quite some time and still wasnt able to put in as many gallons as they say it holds.
