Good day to you all. I know that for city driving is 23 while on the highway is 30 MPG. At a glance how i can assess this? What are the things to do to improve the fuel economy of my accord. The mileage is 208,000. Is a good car presently and runs great. I want to use it for the next 3 years to run a master degree in Medical physics(nuclear medicine) in Nigeria university. Hoping to hear from you guys

 

I use the old method of setting the trip when I fill up....next time I fill up, divide the mileage from the trip by the gallons needed to fill up....that is my MPG. I keep up with mine almost every fill up.

So I'd start building a "log" of sorts. Track it and see where you are at.

Things to do....be sure the tune up items are up to date.
