Default How to Clean Oil

Hi, im New here my english is not very well.
my Distributor is leak and i buy to change the O-Ring (30110-PC6-005).
but i want to clean the surfaces that get wet from the oil.
its ok to clean the Rubber hose with carburetor spray/degreaser ? and how to clean the metal surfaces , with carburetor spray/degreaser?

Well, I'd go with a "degreaser" instead of carb cleaner if I had a choice. If all I had was carb cleaner than I'd use it.

Clean as much as you can before removing the dist. Once it is out you should have more room to clean a bit more.

Put the new o-ring on, a light coat of engine oil on the new o-ring and see what you have from there.

thx, my question if the degreaser dont hurt the Rubber hoses ?
or spray on a rag before and then clean ?

A mild degreaser should not hurt it. If you use carb cleaner I would spray it in a cloth and gently clean it.
