Does anyone know how to change the starter on a 95 V6? I bought a Chilton Manual, but it is not as helpful as I expected. The starter appears to be relatively hard to reach. I traced the positive wire from my battery to find it. It looks like I am going to have to remove a lot of parts to get to it from the top. Do I need to put it up on jack stands and go in from the bottom?Is this something that should be relatively easy?Does anyone have any pictures or anything that would help me out?
I have always had 5.0 Mustangs and done a lot of the maintenancework myself,but i am very unfamiliar with Honda V6's and I4's. I just bought my first Honda this past December (2000 Accord LX 5spd)and it runs great. The 95 V6 is my wife's and the starter went out.

 

It turned out it wasn't the starter after all. It was the fuel filter.A $20 fix . Glad I didn't replace the starter after all!
