My Honda Accord blower motor fan make a little noise and I the dealer wouldnt want to fix it because they said it's fine!!! This thing is still under warranty but the service advisor said that he only able to fix it if he canhear thesound loud enough to valid the problem!! I brought my car to dealer couple times but all they said is my car is fine! I think they're too lazy to fix this. Is there anyway I can remove the fan and see if something stuck in there??? It's sound like the blower motor fan is cracking or something stuck in there.

 

I wouldn't remove it because they might blame you for the problem. I would take the car to another dealership in the area and hope they try to fix the problem. You could also file a complaint with Hondaof North America about that dealership or tell them that you will file a complaint to give them an incentive to do their job.

 

You'll have to squawk a little louder. This is a fairly extensive job, even in Hondas. Honda probably pays the shop barely enough to get the job done, hence the shop'slack of enthusiasm to tackle the job. Try another shop and complain that you will go to state attorney general, local newspapers, et al. I think you'll get your repair.

I would try some other vehicles w/ same setup and see if blower fan sound is better or same. If same, you may have to live w/ it.

Take it to another dealer. Call customer service if no satisfaction. DO NOT tear into it yourself, you'ld bebetter off playing with rattlesnakes!!

 

I would not do any work that could jeopardize the warranty ,,
take it back to dealer , ask the service manager to have you listen to another car same as yours that they have on the lot,, see if noise is there ;

If no noise,, DEMAND that they fix it ,ASAP

If it makes the same noise, it must be normal for that particular yr + model

 

I agree with all of the above. And trust me...you don't want to remove the blower motor. it is a royal PITA. I dread the day that I ever have to do it.
