I have been using Seafoam on my 99 Accord EX for a year now. Its close to 150,000 miles, but its a great product! I have not heard about o2 sensor or spark plugs getting dirty from the application of seafoam.

Lets hydrolock a motor class 101.

I'm in for the rod knock problem about to happen.....
SeaFoam could hydrolock an engine?

I have heard both bad and good about SeaFoam. Can it damage the eninge, or o2 sensors? I have wanted to try it but not at the expense of a o2 sensor. So by putting it through the vacuum line and havng it cleans thing is it really doing much?

Are you making this comment in reference to using seafoam or injecting solvent to clean the egr ports like TEXASHONDA stated ??

I promise you, if you suck enough liquid into an engine intake manifold there is a good chance you will hydrolock a piston and bend a rod.
I rebuilt an engine that the person tired a berrymans B-12 cleaner kit, and they sucked too much "top end " cleaner thru it; bent rod.
So far as cleaning the EGR ports there is a plate that mounts on the EGR base [Sold by BG products] that attaches to a pressurized can system to blow cleaner thru the ports.
But if you already have blocked ports that won't work either, because the cleaner is only pulled thru the ports that are open and have engine vacum.
Bottom line here is there is no "silver bullet" for blocked EGR passages.
Don't shoot the messenger , I speak the truth.

I know that to clean the egr passages properly you got to do it the old way,
As for seafoam ,to be honest with you i have never used it,, we use the BG products to decarbonize ,, have been for many years and never had any issues whatsoever .. But reading what a lott of other people here and other forums have been using it with no issues either ..
I know that you you pump enough fluid in the chamber it will bent a rod , as you know liquid does not compress ,,,
is that really such a danger using Seafoam ?? like i said i have never personally used it , nor do we use it at the shop
