Default Hubcap Help - JPN or USA

I have a 99 Accord LX 4Dr 4cyl that I want to replace the hubcaps on. I found a couple of replacements, as described below. One part is for a vehicle manufactured in Japan and the other is for a vehicle manufactured in the US, as defined by the origin. My Accord, based on the J in the first positon of the VIN number, was manufactured in Japan. Considering the cost difference in these two parts, I'm trying to determine if these hubcaps are truely interchangable. There's no way I'll pay 61.81 for a plastic hubcap, but would like to get new ones if possible. If theres a reason the US caps won't work, I'll consider reconditioned caps, which are actually more expense at $25.00. Appreciate any input.

Part # Desc. Origin Cost
44733-S4K-A10 TRIM, WHEEL (15") JPN $61.81
44733-S84-A10 TRIM, WHEEL (15X6JJ) USA $18.44

Probably just a different style (#12, 13, 14, 26, 28). The parts drawings really don't say much. But it DOES show that all the different wheel covers are held on by the wheel nuts the same way.

If the US wheel covers are for a 15x6 wheel, you can look at YOUR wheels to see if they're the same. A 15x5.5 or 15x6.5 wheel will have a different amount of "dishing" on the outside, so that would be a reason for wheel covers to fit or not.

Jim, Thank you for the reply. The style for each of the part numbers is the same, which is #13 in the diagram you included, so that shouldn't be the difference. Also, the hubcaps are attached via the lug nuts, and assume that would be the same for both numbers. Re. wheel dishing, I'm not clear on what that means, or how I could determine/measure the difference. Would appreciate if you would clarify. Thanks again.

Say one wheel is 15x5 size, another is 15x6. The outer edge of the wheel (where the balance weights are clamped) can be further inboard or further outboard.

Say your wheelcover is made for a 15x6 & you installed it onto a 15x5 wheel. The center of the wheelcover would bolt to the middle of the wheel, but the outer edge of the wheelcover wouldn't sit against the rim.

OTOH take a wheelcover for a 15x5 rim & try to install it on a 15x6. The outer edge of the wheelcover will sit against the rim but the central part of the wheelcover will not be in against the lugs.
