hydraulic hood lifts
my 2009 honda ex-L sedan has a "stick in the hole" to hold up the engine hood (or bonnet) has anyone ever installed the hydraulic lifts on their accords or do you know of a place i can look for help. i see a hole in the underside of the hood that might accommodate these. the inner fender am not sure as there is curently a piece of trim along that section. i have checked the honda website for parts, nada, and also sent an email to majestic honda, no reply from them yet.
having to use that stick to hold the hood up just annoys the he** out of me. like looking for the power window button on your rental and finding a crank.
