I have a 2009 accord lx and want to add factory navigation. what do i need to do in order for me to do that? is it reasonable to convert it over?

 

Wow, why do you want to spend that kind of money? Get yourself a nice little Garmin unit and use it. They are sooo nice to have on a trip. Do some research at garmin.com and don't get anymore than you need to. EBay's a good place to look once you know what you want.

What do you need to do? You need to call the dealer that's what. An '09 is under warranty and you should not attempt this yourself. If you have the money to spend it's very simple, call your dealer and make an appt. they'll do the rest. Plan on spending hundreds, not positive how much but I believe it's upwards of $400.00 from a dealer (don't quote me there.) Just go on line to any Honda dealer near you they should have a cost for an install. Before winter I'm having a dealer near me install a Honda remote starter in my '09 and that's around $500.00 if that helps. Yeah I know kind of like comparing apples and oranges.
