I need some good advice
Hello everyone, my name is Kyle and I'm a new member and a noob to Honda in general. Sorry for the breakdown, thought it would help. I have a 91 Civic 1.5. The timing belt broke, you know the rest. Since that motor is WEAK, I just bought an F20B, motor/ trans and I'm getting ready for the swap. My questions; Do I need Accord headers w/ Civic exhaust? I guess yes, and which set up is best? Also, what's a good cold air/ short ram? Any feedback is much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, Kyle
Yes, you should match the headers to the engine. There are many options for the exhaust, check around locally for a reputable exhaust/muffler shop... even if you don't use their service, you will be able to pick up some advice
CAI's are not worth the cost... even though they may claim to add HP, that is primarily advertising hype... any intake that is placed under the hood in the engine compartment is going to draw warm/hot air... hence the reason why new car manufacturers place the intake at a lower level away from the engine, often below and behind the front bumper so that they will actually draw cooler outside air. Of course a lot of people do like the looks of a CAI, one must ask if a decoration is expense warranted
You can get better results (at no cost except labor) by removing the baffles from within the intake resonator box which are only there to quite (muffle) the sound of incoming air flow
Good luck... have fun
