I'm a newbie to this site and have a strut question. I have 1999 4-dr Accord 5 spd LX and need struts badly. I never liked the factory struts and need something stiffer for high speed driving. This is a family car and I have no interest in expensive Konis or coil overs. What's a decent shock that will provide some stiffness in the turns but not so stiff that my teeth fall out?

 

I would suggest just going with a "performance" shock from like napa or something... They shouldn't be terribly expensive, will provide a bit more stiffness but they won't be rock hard...
