Idle Overheating- 1993 Honda Accord LX
UPDATE:
Drove the car around more after replacing the sensor and it stopped overheating after a days use. Fan turns on and off periodically at idle and the temp gauge doesn't rise.
Still will be doing the coolant flush just so I know the last time it was done.

That part number was the correct part number for your temperature switch that turns on the fans at 93 C or 200 F.
I was thinking you could have purchased temp switch b that is on the front of the engine. That switch closes at 106 C or ~223F and could have caused the high temp on the gauge until the fans kicked in.
