Idle problem
ok so i have a 94 accord f22b2 non vtec. The head gasket was blown and it wasnt starting. I replaced the main relay under dash and fired right up. Then i proceeded to replace head gasket. i finished head gasket last night and when i started it up it start taching up and down going from 1k to 4k rapidly just wondering what this could be. I also noticed im leaking coolant from somewhere wondering if i got head gasket on backwards or something and could this cause the taching problem im thinking either crank position sensor or vaccumm leak from head.

Yes, yes and yes....almost any or all of those could be the issue.
Do a compression test, is the head sealed?
Can you locate the source of the coolant leak? Repair that and be sure to bleed the coolant with the heater set to max.
Vac leaks are fun to find....I've used different ways of finding them, carb cleaner, soapy water, ect....double check all of the vac hoses first, then good hunting.
