No I definitely needed a new distributor. It was so bad the car would turn off after being on for a couple of mins. I got it checked out a while back when the car didn't turn off and they were going to put on a new o-ring but then they realized the distributor was in bad shape. When I took off the old distributor the rotor was kind of damaged and not on solid. Glad I finally replaced it.
