Smile Interchangable transmissions?

Aloha everyone! I have a 99 accord coupe 3.0L v6 automatic with 195,000 miles and of course the transmission is slipping. If I warm it up for 10 minutes it drives fantastic but if I do not it stalls and bangs into d3 or d4. I found a couple working replacements but I need to know if they will fit. Will any j series fit? For example a 2003 3.0l v6 transmission? Or anything 3.0L v6 automatic? Thank you in advance!

I think 98-99 V6 should be direct fit without any modification, the 03 is a whole different animal, because it's a 5sp auto versus yous 4sp. The 00-02 will also fit but you might have to replace the TCM, but i could be wrong.

Check car-part.com for used transmissions. It will show x-over trans that will fit your model.

good luck

Actually 98-02 v6 with tag code b7xa should all interchange, I'm building both 99 and 02 now and both are the same
