Seems like that's not common, but I can't imagine why not. If it can interrupt the circuit to shut down the engine, it should be able to do that at any time. Maybe from vibration?

If you can make it happen by wiggling the key that pretty much proves it. Just don't get in troube by testing it in traffic...

The ignition switch? It sure can and is quite common, that's why honda has a recall on em. Free fix at your local dealer if that's what it is.

Well I did the tune up yesterday he is going to call the dealer about getting that new switch now under the recall. His plugs were terrible lol.

Dealer replaced the ign switch for free today and he said it runs like a new car now . Thanks for the help guys.
