Wife reported that the air did not work at all today after the day heated up. I took a trip to the stealership and bought the blower motor resistor. It was the best compromise of cost vs. availability. $85.00 for the thing, but it solved the problem. I disassembled the old one and figure I paid about $14 per resistor. Now to see if I can repair the old one and have a spare...

Revision: About $14 per component: one thermistor, one transistor, one capacitor, three resistors on the PCB. Expensive.

Crap, that was not it. It sounds like when it tries to come on something is stuck or opening(?) Also when running the stereo/ac dignostic test again it still shows the bottow row flashing with just the bottom part of the second 8 remaining (not flashing). Wow, now could this be the blower moter?

Unplug the connector to the blower motor. Check that the wht/blu wire has 12V to body ground.
