Hello. I am new here so I'll try to be brief. I have a brand new 2015 Accord Hybrid. It's the base model but still pretty nice. Until a week ago on the free way it would still kick in an out of EV mode when on cruise control. Now I can feel it try to shift to EV mode but as soon as the EV light comes on it turns off. It seems almost as if there's a problem with it shifting to the electric motor. It works fine when in town and not on cruise on the freeway. Any thoughts?

 

My first thought would be to contact the dealership, certainly it should still be under warranty
