JDM Engine ID
I just received a JDM engine for my '96 Accord, but all of the tags and decals on the engine are in English. If this engine came from Japan, shouldn't all of the decals be in Japanese? Should I be concerned with this engine? Thanks

RE: JDM Engine ID
just because it was manufactured in Japan doesn't mean that it's in japanese. Early accords were built over there and they're all in english. If there is an ID tag on there you may be able to decifier where it was built

The engine says "Made in USA", but I thought all used JDM engines were imported into the US from vehicles that had been driven and "junked" in Japan?

It's a F22B. Looking closer at an email from the company, 10% of the engines can have US origin. Thanks

RE: JDM Engine ID
My neighbor here in Japan had a US Built Accord Wagon, RHD for use in Japan, built in Ohio.
Which part do you have a question about EXACTLY. As an example an F22B would say F22B in JDM Land, front of engine near trans mounting surface, readable from standing outside of car in front of bumper. I too am suprised there is no Japanese hand writting, is your tag hand written?
