JDM F23 engine swap questions

F23A1 is 150 hp at the crank, F23A4 is 135.
What?? Isnt the F23A4 148hp?? I think you mean the F23A5 is 135hp. The A5 was in the DX model accord I believe.

^ Yes, my bad. I always think there were only 2 engines offered. The nice F23 and the crappy one.

We could talk about the far less superior F22 if you'd like some 5g action...

I still think it was a waste of Honda to design the A5 head to simply put it in a lower trim model. Pay more money to make less money?

far less surperior? f23 makes what 3 more hp stock. But I dont like the F22 anyways.

Isnt it better fuel economy? I mean its still a waste of an engine. But i dont think ive seen a DX 6gen accord anyway.

My comment was more or less directed at the F22B2... what a waste

6th gen AT ..... now that was a losing design.

On the 6th-gen, its under the center console, about a foot forward from the gearshift lever. Not the outboard kick-panel. To actually remove the PCM, its a PITA to dismantle the center console. You can see the wiring harness at the PCM by peeling the carpeting down just below the plastic center console, way forward. Kinda alongside the passengers left foot.
