Talking Jerky hwy cruising

I have a small problem with my 94 Accord. (Don't want it to turn into a big problem. :-)

At hwy speeds the car jerks just enough to feel it every few minutes; more often going up hill or with 4 pasengers. No warning lights are on and it does it more noticeably with the cruise control on (but that would be expected). Transmission, fuel filter plugging, spark breakdown, even timing belt come to mind but I don't have a clue...

Just turned 100k miles and the car only gets used 2 months out of the year.

I know it's not much to go on but maybe someone else has had the same problem and has fixed it.

Thanks,

The EGR ports might need to be cleaned;
With the engine at operating temp idle apply vacum to the EGR valve, the engine should stumble, or die.
Or with engine warmed up, put the trans in Drive HOLD THE BRAKE and bring the rpm up thru 1700. If you feel the stumble/miss 1500 thru 1800 RPM the EGR ports are plugged up.
