Default Is it just me?

Is it just me or does the accord have small rotors up front that over heat and warp easily?

I haven't had any problems on my 07 Accord at 85K miles. Brakes are great.

I have heard that driving through cold water after hard braking can cause this.

No problem here in Houston, we've had 1 good rain since Feb of this year.

good luck

the rotors are actually a good size for the accords…remember accords are economy cars not performance cars.
If you are buying rotors from a auto parts store they tend to be warped already. I have got a few sets where all 4 rotors where warped....and they were BRAN NEW out of the box. So you either have the choice to buy OEM rotors or you can buy the store bought rotors and have them turned (seems to defeat the purpose of buying new rotors) You also can fork out the cash for a GOOD name brand set of rotors.

your talkin about shaving the rotors when you say turned right? if so wouldnt they over heat still? I got centric rotors all around and installed them with hawk ceramic pads in january and they were fine for maybe 2 months before a slight wobble and it just got worse as time went by.
