Exclamation Knocking Sound ???

Is this a rod knock or bad gas or thin oil or what? I've adjusted the valves to intake .254 mm and exhaust .301 mm. The knock goes away while driving, or under load, from what I can tell. I've read in other places that many people have had the same issue and have done amsoil engine flushes that have helped. The engine has only about 110,000 on it and the spark plugs are gapped correct, the wires are only a few months old and blah blah. I opened and cleaned the plenum, EGR system and checked vacuum on the hoses. The crank pulley wobbles and I'll be replacing that tomorrow, but, the outer pulley, the small one, is perfectly true. The outer one, separated by the rubber, wobbles prob due to the belt being to tight at one point thus smooshing the rubber. I baby this thing and from what I know have done everything to figure this out without dropping the pan and grabbing the rods, I'm not into that ya know. If I have to I will. Any ideas or HELP, PLEASE HELP, would be great. Thanks.

sorry, it was 5w 20. Correct? Castrol syntec. Were you able to watch the video? Does that sound like I should drop another engine in?

I can't see U-tube from work...

Honda originally called for 5w-30, which is what your owners manual says. Then after a couple years they retro-actively changed it to 5w-20 for Accords beginning in 1998.

Question

Yeh, I know they used to call for 5w 30 but wasn't that until about 97? 97 and after was 5w 20 wasn't it? What do you suggest? Would it be bad to use the 5w 20 for the summer?

Where do you live - is it HOT?
If you're concerned, keep the 5w-20 for winter & use 5w-30 now.

The knock is worse. I've changed the oil and the knock starts now at 1300 - 1500 rpm and now I can hear it between slow speed shifts. I'm very worried about this. It seems that no body wants to touch the video with a 10 foot pole either. BTW, I got the 5w 30 and put that in.
