Lease return/buying new
Hello...my lease on my 2008 Accord LX is done in September. Being I use so few miles every year, I've decided to buy instead of lease. What price should I look to talk them down to paying on a 2010 Accord LX auto trans, and also same car 2011? Any help is appreciated! I never really know if I get a good deal or not. If it matters, I'm in NJ. Thank you.

Until I bought my first car from a dealer I always had the same question...
After I bought one, I found there is no real answer for that...
Some dealerships will be flexible and work with you, trying to get you into the car, and some will stick to their guns and not budge very much (if at all).
As Angelo said, you need to come up with what YOU feel the car is worth, and negotiate with the dealer. If you're going to finance, realize what each month will cost you, and how long you'll have to pay it off. If you can tolerate it, then pull the trigger... If not, then you need to negotiate more or realize you're asking for the dealer to move their price too much.
Having said that, If the sticker is $22.5k, I'd go in asking for $19k and see where it goes from there.. They might just laugh at you, or they might say "well, I can't go that low, but I can do <x> to make it cost less"...
You might hit a salesperson on a good day where they've made tons of sales, and are willing to help you cuz of their mood - or you might find someone who's had a horrible month and wants to drain you for every penny...
