Default "Light engine oil" to change fuel pressure regulator

1998 Accord- I plan to change the fuel pressure regulator.

The Chilton manual says to coat the O-ring with light engine oil. What is considered "light" ?
On other cars I've worked on, I just wiped new engine oil (5W-30) on the O-ring.

The 5W-30 you use will work perfectly well.

Any oil will do. Just dip your finger in the oil and rub your finger around the o-ring. You certainly don't need a lot to make the part slip in place easily
