Default light problem

So i just got into my honda tonight and realized that my speedometer/tach and all those lights are not working (although the high beem indicator, parking breeak, etc lights work. Also, the rear brake lights and license plate lights are out as well (brake lights do work when i press on brake). I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what could cause this or what I could do. Im new to Hondas and not sure where to start (possibly fuses?) Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It would help to know what year Accord (presumably though you don't say). Put in your signature line.

Underhood fuse box would be my first suggestion.

good luck

It may be more than one fuse..So i would suggest check them all.

And update your post with the correct vehicle information(Year make model),as well as signature information as well.

I knew it was a 95 2.2 all along, crystal ball was tuned up LOL

First check underhood fuse #32-15 amp

Next remove the steering column shroud [screws underneath]
On the plug to the headlight combo switch check for power [inbound]from the fuse on the RED/green wire.

Then turn on the lights and check for power[outbound] on the RED/black wire.

FWIW; those switches can be removed thencarefully opened and contacts cleaned and tension sprigs stretched a little bit.

Try isolating the light dimmer in the dash (remove connection and install jumper between Red/Blk and Red wires on connector). If indicator lights burn full bright and fuse does not blow, you've found the problem, the dimmer control unit.

good luck
