Default lighting problems

hey look, i have an 99 accord coupe V6 and i just replaced the doam light because it wasnt working and now it wont turn on when the switch is on, it only turns on when doors are open and the switch is on doors. How can i fix that??

Another thing, in the A/C console the little knot where you can adjust temperature i just found out couple of weeks ago that it didnt turn on when i turned on my car lights, how can i replace that bulb and where is it located.

with the dome light if it works with the door open then your switch may be bad... you can try removing it by popping off the cover and removing the screws then cleaning the contacts or just replace it. The a/c **** you'll probably have to pull that section out and replace the bulb, the clock at the top has a couple of clips, remove those and pull the clock to get started... here's a link with pictures/instructions....

let us know the outcome.... also on a side note a regular pencil eraser works REALLY good for cleaning metal/electrical contacts...

hey it worked, i just removed the swtich and scraped the contacts a little bit with a flat head screw driver... it worked perfectly...
For the temperature **** i had to go to the honda dealer to get the bulb and i removed the panel just like the link you gave me said... also worked perfectly.
