Hey guys! So I got up at 0630 this morning and had to drop my mom off at work, it was about 55 degrees out (live in central FL) and she kind of rushed me when my engine temp on my dash was below C, I drove about half a mile and went to turn and turned on my blinker when my lights went off and on and at that same time the "Maint req'd" light turned on at the same time, and went off when the lights came on. But after my dash showed my engine was at "C" it stopped doing it and I drove around for about 5 minutes and it didn't do it again. Going to have my alternator tested (had it tested a month ago and it was fine.) since my mom is firmly believing that's what it is. Anyone else maybe have an idea of what it could be? Thank you in advance for your time to those who read this and respond! (: Also my car is a 2000 Honda Accord DX

 

I'd also look at grounds and any other wiring connections that you might suspect of being loose/dirty/corroded. Sounds more like a connection is coming loose *somewhere*, rather than a bad alternator.
