Default Lights on Flip Flop

94 accord Ex

head lights and tail lights on the flip flop. I noticed that when the head lights are on the tail lights are not and vice versa. Ive check the fuses both under hood and drivers side kick panel and see no blown fuses. Any thoughts, advice, or information would be helpfull being im not to sure what the issue is.

thanks

That is strange.

There is a headlight relay in the fuse box under the hood. Switch that relay with an identical relay nearby (if there is one) that isn't important like the power windows or something like that. See if this fixes your problem.

The other item you might want to check are the grounds.

If you go to the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum, there is a link for online shop manuals. The hondatech site has a 94 shop manual that you can download that will show the ground locations. G201, G301, G401, G402, G403, and G404 could cause your problem.

Okay went back out today to start up and rinse off and noticed that there was a little something different. Before the leights were on the flop but today they just stayed on constant. Maybe it could be the switch on the brake peddle and thatis what Im expecting. I would have crawled down there and check but being that Its been setting around a few months Ive collected quite the infestation on Black Widows. I plan on covering the car and throwing a bug bomb up under it.

Definitely kill the black widows before going under the car.
