Default Linear solenoid or fas wire?

Hello, I can't seem to find a direct answer any where to this question. (back story)
I have a Accord ex 94, the d4 will come on and the car will make a slight clicking sound and just shut off. The code is 14, i had the main relay re-solder and it seemed to only alter the problem. What exactly is the linear solenoid or does it only apply to the previous models.

Yes, when you jump the service connector the d4 reads a code 14 when it happens, also I tried a tcu swap the car ran fine for two Weeks. The problem did come back after that. Thank you for your reply.
