Default Lip kit or Drop Kit

I have an 05' coupe that needs to have either a lip kit, or a drop on it, but i cant decide. I think the lips will be cheaper, but there's also the possibility ill mess them up on the curbs. But dropping the car looks cool, but i know can be costly. Does anyone have any recommendations? does dropping the car actually help performance significantly. And does anyone have any 05 black front lips for sale???

drop it IMO...and yes the lower center of gravity helps out. You can take turns quicker launches better ect.

well it also depends on what wheels you are rolling with, if you go with 17's or 18's, then drop it a couple inches and the wheels will tuck in nicely, if you go with aftermarket rims and just a lip, you will probably have an unsightly amount of gap between the top of the tire and the wheel well

as of now im on stock 16" rims. but if i were to get new rims they would only be 17's no bigger than that. I want to drop my car just so the wheel gap is gone, how many inches on the front and back would that be?

well unless you go with coilovers, most drop coils are around 1.5 inch for mild and 2.5 for slam, but thats for coils, I used tein for my rides, its a nice ride, plus make the wheel gap look minimal and sweet
