Long story short car stalled on me in a parkinglot. Nd qouldnt crank up due to bad spark plugs so i changed them nd now car starts up nd runs but terrible it always jerks nd evens turns Off i have ran codes cel-9 & 30 means i have to change the distributor right ?

What year is the car?

Before this happened was the cel on? What plugs did you install, what about the rest of the system - cap, rotor, inspect/replace wires?

 

Yes the cel light is on nd it is a 94 nd i had someone briefly look at it they said the cap nd all that seemed fine im not sure about the wires tho is there a way to check it nd find out if the wires are bad nd ngk platniums i believe

 

Since the CEL is on, read the error code so we know what THAT is about.

Someone briefly looked at it but didn't read the code?
