Greetings All! Was wondering if Honda makes an OEM locking gas cap? I could always go out and buy some off-brand one, but take pridein using genuine Honda parts for my ride. I realize that the gas door is "locked" but I'm just paranoid There's been a rash of gas-syphonings in my area lately due to thehigh gas prices. Thanks for reading!

 

I would just buy a lockable one at AutoZone for cheap.
Word of warning though - in my area down south, gas theives have not been siphoning because it is too much trouble. They have actually been poking a hole in the gas tank and draining the gas out that way since it is quicker. We have gotten a few insurance claims where that hashappened to people. That's why I don't worry about a locking gas cap. Plus a theif could probably break one of those gas caps pretty easily with a crowbar.
